About Me

My name is Sydney -Jewel, and I am 24 years old. I have been teaching my own private swimming lessons for three summers now. I am an Emergency First Aid Instructor, CPR with AED skills, Standard First Aid with CPR- C, National lifeguard, and Lifesaving Instructor certified. I have been certified to teach swimming lessons for over 7 years with the Niagara West YMCA and Kiwanis’s pool. I have taught swimming lessons for children of all ages and abilities.

I teach swimming lessons based on the Lifesaving Society "Swim for Life" curriculum. I have also taught swimming lessons through the Canadian Red Cross before, but I will evaluate and teach through the "Lifesaving Society- "Swim for Life".

 

I am passionate about teaching swimming lessons because I love to watch children progress in their strokes and skills and see how far they have come at the end of the summer.
