How does Booking work?

booking system is now entirely online. You can easily book your child's private swimming lesson right from our website! No more Facebook messages - just a simple and secure way to book your swim lesson.

What ages do you teach?

I provide lessons for infants as young as 4 months, all the way up to adults. So no matter your age, I am here to help you learn, progress, and enjoy the water

What do I bring with my child to their lesson?

I encourage all of our students to come to swimming lessons dressed in their bathing suit and ready to learn. I have lifejackets and goggles available, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment as well. With my lessons, your child can develop the skills they need to be safe and confident in the water.

Will their be washrooms available for my child to use during their lesson?

At this time, washrooms will be unavailable unless there is an emergency.

What will you be doing to keep the children and yourself safe?

To keep everyone healthy and safe, I have implemented several precautionary measures. I will also be sanitizing all the equipment before and after each swimming lesson. In addition, I am taking extra care to ensure that social distancing measures are strictly adhered to. With these measures, you can rest assured that your children are in a safe and secure environment.

What happens if my child has never taken swimming lessons before?

I understand that every child is different and has different needs, so we take the time to get to know each student and develop a tailored plan that is best for them.
If your child has never taken lessons before, we will examine them on the first day to determine what level they should begin with. I am committed to making sure each student is comfortable and confident in the water.

Will their be reports cards given out at the end of the summer?

At the end of the summer, each participant will receive a Life-Saving Report card that includes their current or previous swimming level, as well as a detailed comment. I hope that this report card will be a source of inspiration and motivation for your children to continue to strive for excellence in the water.

How do I know what level my child is in?

I understand that when registering for a new swim program, it can be difficult to know what level your child should be placed in.
If you have previously completed swimming lessons in the past at an indoor or outdoor pool, you would have received a report card indicating what level they are to be registered in. On our website, I also have a conversion chart which goes from Canadian Red Cross or YMCA to previous Life-saving Society swim lesson levels. This way, you can easily and quickly determine what level your child should be placed in.

Are you able to come to other peoples houses if they have their own pool?

I teach swimming lessons to young children in the Grimsby and Beamsville areas. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and enjoyable learning environment for your little ones.
I understand that parents are busy and don't always have the time to take their kids to a public pool. That's why I offer to come to your pool and provide quality swimming lessons tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities.

What are the prices for swimming lessons?

My prices vary depending on the amount of time spent in the water. All pricing information is available on my website. Generally, our standard pricing includes $20 per 30-minute lessons for Preschool (ages 1-5) and Swimmer (ages 1-4) and $35 for Swimmer (ages 5-6). I look forward to helping your child take the plunge
