Programs
Officially Licensed though Lifesaving Society "Swim for life"
Parent and Tot-1,2, and 3.
This age is for children to get comfortable with the water, and get used to basic swimming skills with the help and assistance from parents. Each different Parent and Tot level is based on age. If you have any questions about how this age group works for swimming lessons, feel free to ask me and we can discuss further.
Preschool-1-5
These levels are for the younger children ages 3-5 to focus on gaining confidence in the water, learning how to wear a life jacket and how to put it on, glides, front and back swim, and floats.
Swimmer-1-6
These levels help children feel comfortable in the water while learning how to do front and back floats, glides, changing direction in the water and submerging their head under water.
Canadian Swim Patrol-Rookie/Ranger/Star
The Swim Patrol provides enriched training for those who are ready to go beyond learn-to-swim. Swim Patrol's three levels - Rookie, Ranger, and Star - continue to develop participants' swim strokes and provide the skill foundation that prepares them for success in the Society's Bronze medal awards.
Adult Swimmer
These beginning swimmers will work on safe entries, exits and moving through the water. When ready they'll do floats, glides and kicking on their front and back without assistance. They'll even explore jumping into deep water and treading water with their lifejackets on. Fitness drills suitable for their skills will increase strength and endurance.
